This is a satellite picture of the Korea region by night. The circled North Korea region is almost dark. Not because they just had an environmental initiative of not turning on the lights but because most people are too poor to have electrical light. North Korea is not a free market economy but a communist, totalitarian country. South Korea below, a market economy, is just going through a severe economic crisis. People still have electrical light, as the picture shows...
